Setting: The jingle bell-laden ballroom of the North Pole Plaza, decked out for SantaCon - the most awaited event by the season's Santas. Snow machines whirr, fake reindeer roam the room, and "All I Want for Christmas" plays for the hundredth time.

Plot: The Grand Santa Throne – a symbol of power, the prized seat, where the chosen Santa sits to officiate the event, has always been a point of contention. This year, the throne promises to be grander, with even more cushion, making the competition cutthroat. In an evening where eggnog flows like water and tensions run as high as the North Star, one Santa might just end up on the 'slayed' list.

Characters:

• Mistletoe Mike: The ambitious and controversial Santa, always with a mistletoe pin on his hat. He's the victim with a past full of scandal, intrigue, and countless feuds.
• Northside Nick: A seasoned Santa and one of the Old Guard. Nick feels that his northern route and stature are threatened by Mike's progressive ideas.
• Jingle-Bell Jane: Has the best Santa laugh in town. She's been long-standing friends with Steve until recent rumors (spurred by Mike) of her trying to sabotage Steve’s carol recordings.
• Goldmine Gloria: With access to the wealthiest routes and homes, she had a covert alliance (and a hinted romance) with Mike. She's wealthy, influential, and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

Conflicts You Should Know About:

• Turf Envy: There’s been a longstanding rivalry between Northside Nick and Southpole Sammy. Both believe their territories (north and south end of town) bring in the most Christmas spirit (and tips).
• Income Insecurity: Goldmine Gloria, named because she always manages to get the richest neighborhoods, has hinted at a big secret this year. Others wonder if they’ll get their fair share of gigs, especially Penny-pinching Pete, who’s had a terrible year.
• Popularity Jealousy: Jingle-Bell Jane always gets the most photo requests, while Silent Night Steve barely gets any. Steve's growing resentment is as visible as Rudolph's red nose.
• Throne Ambition: Everyone knows that the Santa who gets the Grand Santa Throne gets the best gigs. Kringle Karl has had the throne three years running. But this year, Mistletoe Mike has launched a campaign with the slogan, "Make SantaCon Great Again!"
